Disjunctions\disjonctions im Mitteleuropa 2005

In 2005, my partner and I spent two months in Ukraine, through a programme of the Canadian International Development Agency. (It was one year after the Orange Revolution, if I remember correctly.) The sense of Mirror-World Disjunction was palpable, and felt strongly; although at that time, I do not think I had a sense of what it was. There was such a newness to being in Europe for the first time in twenty years. \\ En 2005, mon conjoint et moi avons passé deux mois en Ukraine, dans le cadre d'un programme de l'Agence canadienne de développement international. (C'était un an après la Révolution orange, si je me souviens bien.) Le sens de la disjonction du monde-miroir était palpable et ressenti fortement; bien qu'à ce moment-là, je ne pense pas avoir eu une idée de ce que c'était. Il y avait une nouveauté d'être en Europe pour la première fois en vingt ans.
